Jerrica Marshall
Executive Director
Jerrica Marshall is an expert in creating vibrant public spaces, bringing more than ten years of experience in community and economic development, public markets, and events.
Most recently, Jerrica served as Executive Director of The Directors Council in Des Moines, where she led the development and launch of a community initiative aimed at addressing and eliminating racial and economic disparities through strategy, partnerships, fundraising, and engagement.
Before that, Jerrica managed the Downtown Des Moines Farmers Market and produced and supported various events, including The DSM Book Festival and The World Food & Music Festival. She also initiated and developed an award-winning program designed to support entrepreneurs and small businesses.
With a strong ability to bring together businesses, nonprofits, civic organizations, and community members, Jerrica is excited to leverage her experience, enthusiasm, and creativity to bring Omaha’s public market to life.
